A few different worlds. Somehow, they all connect.
I’m Will, a Melbourne-based designer, photographer, videographer, marketer and procrastinator. I’ve spent over a decade working in agencies, in-house teams and on my own, picking up a little from the people and businesses I’ve worked with along the way.
These days, I move between media and design for brands, events and hospitality. I like getting to know the people behind a business, what they care about and what they’re trying to make happen.
I also run a hospitality venue, where I experiment with content, operations, social media, management, systems and customer experience. It’s given me a firsthand understanding of how easy it is to overthink an idea or run out of hours to bring it to life.
I used to be an introverted designer. Now I’m an introverted café owner with a camera as well. Still figuring things out, but with a little more empathy from having been the owner, the contractor, the client and the employee.
Martial arts has been part of my life for more than a decade. I’ve trained, competed and still teach. It also led me into combat sports photography, opening a few doors I hadn’t expected.
It hasn’t been a particularly straight path, but I like where it’s taken me so far.
